The 90° connector has revolutionised the DIY world in a simple and smart way; it creates a right angle between two panels without the use of special tools or skills. Designed for an intelligent use of materials to avoid waste in the environment, the connectors can be reused throughout their life. Anyone will be able to design and make his own furniture with no efforts nor need of specific manual skills or experience!
Solid and resistant, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The 90° connector is equipped with a stainless steel screw which, when tightened or loosened with the use of an Allen key, tightens the panels like a clamp, avoiding perforation and the use of a drill or screwdriver. This allows the furniture to be quickly assembled and disassembled and to be modified and redesigned as often as desired.
A PlayWood 90° connector is a patented clamp made of ultra-strong reinforced polymer combined with stainless steel elements. The connector has a high load capacity (see data sheet) and it can be used both indoor and outdoor with all types of boards with a uniform thickness between 16 and 19 mm (0.63 ~ 0.75 inches). For thicker boards 35mm screws are available. Each bracket can be reused over and over again: a modern design, easy to use and position.
Combine several connectors together in order to create shelves, seating, desks and bookcases: a couple of 90° connectors can make a T-joint. Triplets of 90° connectors can make a cross joint.
The gap remaining between the different panels allows you to extend the furniture structure in a modular way.
